SAMBUT MAHASISWA BARU
LEDGER OF WELCOME: BRING YOUR EXCITEMENT,
RAISE THE ACHIEVEMENT
Surakarta, 22 Agustus 2024 – Himpunan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi (HIMAPAKSI) Universitas Sebelas Maret sukses menyelenggarakan acara “Sambut Mahasiswa Baru (SAMARU)” yang pertama pada hari Kamis, 22 Agustus 2024. Acara yang berlangsung di gedung B308 ini dimulai dari pukul 07.00 WIB dengan tujuan untuk mengenalkan lingkungan kampus Pendidikan Akuntansi kepada mahasiswa baru.
Tema dari acara ini adalah “Ledger of Welcome: Bring Your Excitement, Raise the Achievement” dengan harapan bahwa mahasiswa baru Pendidikan Akuntansi selain membawa kegembiraan juga menoreh prestasi dalam perkuliahan. Beberapa rangkaian acara SAMARU kali ini antara lain sambutan kepala program studi, Materi Time Management serta Etika Kehidupan Kampus oleh ketua HIMAPAKSI.
SAMARU kali ini memberi kesempatan untuk bertanya terkait mekanisme dunia perkuliahan serta beban yang akan dipikul oleh tiap mahasiswa dalam pengembangan diri guna menghadapi permasalahan di masa depan. Acara ini juga turut mengundang orang tua mahasiswa baru melalui Zoom Meeting untuk andil dalam kegiatan sosialisasi pengenalan kampus. Harapannya perkuliahan bukan hanya menjadi tanggung jawab mahasiswa saja, tetapi orang tua juga memberi dukungan penuh terhadap dunia pendidikan anaknya, karena orang tua adalah sosok utama dalam pembentukan karakter mahasiswa sebagai penerus generasi bangsa.

Surakarta, Aug 22, 2024 – The Accounting Education Student Association (HIMAPAKSI) of Sebelas Maret University successfully held the first “Welcome New Students (SAMARU)” event on Thursday, August 22, 2024. The event, took place in the B308 building, started at 07.00 WIB with the goals of introducing the Accounting Education campus environment to new students.
The theme of this event is “Ledger of Welcome: Bring Your Excitement, Raise the Achievement” wishing that new students of Accounting Education will not only bring joy but also make achievements during their study. Several sub-events of SAMARU this time include remarks by the head of the major, Time Management course and Campus Life Ethics by the chairman of HIMAPAKSI.
SAMARU gave the opportunity to ask questions about the mechanism during study and the burden that will be borne by each student in self-development to face problems in the future. This event also invited parents of new students through Zoom Meeting to take part in campus introduction socialization activities. Hoped that study will not only be the responsibility of students, but parents will also give full support to the world of education for their children, because parents are the main figures in shaping the character of students as the successors of the nation’s generation.
