Students are required to take part in educational activities such as lectures, practicums, and other activities according to the study plan and schedule that has been determined based on the applicable provisions. 4 weeks is minimum study in a semester. Student must fill attendance list for each lecture given, and must attend lecture at least 75% of the total lectures given. If a student is unable to attend lectures with a minimum determined attendance, students cannot take examination for any reason, except illness, close family members have passed away, or still serving as ambassadors for academic activities. Students can apply for a permit to the academic department, but it should be no later than 5 days after students leave class.
Prerequisite Courses
Prerequisite courses are courses as a prerequisite for obtaining permission to follow certain courses that are required. Thus, courses with prerequisites needs to at least score D on required course.
Examination and Evaluation
To evaluate students in lecture activities, the Faculty conduct exams. We hold exams for all subjects in two stages, called mid-semester exams and end-semester exams. The exam is held in oral and in writing, according to the time specified. Students who get permission to take the exam are those who meet the specified requirements. We announce test results in a location where students can view them easily.
Course and Practical Class Exam Requirements
We arrange and schedule exams only once for both midterm and final exams. Mid-term and end-of-semester exams are formal evaluations, we also evaluate ongoing tasks during the learning process such as homework, quizzes, group assignments, enthusiasm in class/group discussions, special activities and QA (question and answer) in class/group, both oral, written, and in the form of presentation. We customize scheduling mid-term and end-of-semester examinations based on university academic calendar.
The coordinator (in charge) administers a special practical class exam. Faculty administers practical class rules and undergraduate thesis examinations. Students can take practical class courses and exams if they meet all requirements as followed :
- Students are registered in the relevant semester and the Academic Advisor has approved their study plan.
- They meet the administrative requirements issued by the Academic and Student Affairs, also they have paid all tuition fees.
- They have attended lecture activities at least 75% of the total given lectures.
- For practicum classes (practical), students must follow the practicum in accordance with the specified conditions.
