Admission Of New Students

SPMB UNS

Universitas Sebelas Maret accepts matriculants or prospective students through 3 selection routes: the National Selection for State University Admission (SNBP) with a quota of 20%, Joint Selection for State University Admission (SNBT) with a percentage of 40%, and UNS Independent Selection (SM-UNS) with a percentage of 30%. The selection system is under the coordination of the UNS New Student Admissions Selection (SPMB) secretariat.

The Joint Selection of State University Admission (SNBT)

SNBT is a selection of new student admissions using the results of the UTBK and other criteria jointly determined by State Higher Education. UTBK is organized by the Higher Education Admission Test Institute (LTMPT). Registration information, requirements, and procedures are available via the link below.

National Selection for State University Admission (SNBP)

SNBP is implemented based on tracking academic achievements using report cards and academic portfolios. The report cards used are semester one to semester five for SMA/SMK/MA – SMA with a study period of three years or semesters one to seven for SMK with a study period of four years. UNS Independent Selection (SM-UNS)

This selection is a path for new student admissions carried out by UNS outside the SNMPTN and SBMPTN, which include :

  • Independent Selection of Test Path (SMJU)
  • Independent Selection of Partnership Path (SMJK)
  • Independent Selection of Achievement Path (SMJP)
  • Independent Selection of Disabilities Path (SMJD).
