Academics Conselling and Study Plan
Before starting learning activities, students must submit a study plan for each student early semester. After the student fulfills all the requirements, they fill out the study plan form through the academic portal to apply study plan within a certain period of time. In submitting a study plan, students must consult with academic’s counselor for getting approval. If the student is getting late in filling out the study plan form from the allotted time, then the student will lose academic rights during the semester period. The Academic Counselor (DPA) has the responsibility to :
- Providing valuable academic counselling.
- Motivating students to become valuable and successful learners.
- Leading students to make plans, smart in the learning process at UNS, so that they are able to pass according to the specified program and competence.
- Helping students have the competence to internalize the noble values of UNS
- Helping students develop a commendable intellectual character.
- Motivate students to become graduates who always adapt to progress science and technology.
- Requirements to submit a study plan/fill out a study plan form:
- Students fill out the study plan form at SIAKAD online (via computer connected to the internet).
- According to the specified time, students take a print out of the KRS (Planning Card)
- Studies in the Academic and Student Affairs Section.
- KRS printouts are copied in duplicate; next, they come to the advisor of academics to request copied approved planning card.
- If the academic supervisor is still not present within the time of KRS approval, the head of
- The academic supervising laboratory approves the copy in question.
- The approved KRS is submitted to the Academic and Student Affairs Section (original).
- Academic Advisor (duplicate), student (duplicate); after that, they get proof of acceptance from the Academic and Student Affairs Section.
- If the student does not submit the approved KRS to the Academic Section and Student Affairs, the student concerned does not get registered as active students to take part in academic activities in the semester.
- Students have the opportunity to change KRS no later than 2 (two) weeks after lectures start.
- They have the opportunity to cancel KRS at the latest on fourth week after the study started.
- Students must obtain approval from their Academic Advisor to change and cancel KRS.
